When a charge should unwind

We aim to be fair: if we fail to deliver what you paid for, or the Service is unavailable for an extended period, you have a path to a refund under the terms below.
1. Subscription payments
liminalshort operates on a monthly subscription model. Payments are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy. Each billing cycle grants you a fresh allocation of credits.
2. When we may refund
You may qualify for a full or partial refund if:
- You were charged but credits were not applied due to an error on our side;
- You contact us within 7 days of the charge and you have used no more than 10% of the credits granted for that period; or
- The Service was unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours during your paid billing period.
3. When we do not refund
We generally do not refund when:
- You changed your mind after substantially using your credits;
- Outputs did not match personal taste or expectations (AI quality varies by model and prompt);
- Your account was suspended for violating our Terms of Service;
- A refund is requested more than 7 days after the charge date.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. Your remaining credits will stay accessible until the end of the period you have paid for.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us through liminalshort.org with your account email and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy and typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at liminalshort.org/refund.
